New parking rules will take effect on 12 January 2026 at the Józsefvárosi Szent Kozma Healthcare Centre (JEK) area. The rules will apply on weekdays between 7:00 and 20:00.
How do the new rules work?
When entering, the camera at the barrier records the vehicle’s licence plate. If the licence plate is dirty or cannot be recognised, the machine prints a parking ticket, which must be taken in order to enter.
Before leaving, payment must be made at the parking payment machine. If no ticket was issued, payment is made by entering the licence plate number, and the rules calculate the parking time and fee based on this.
How much does parking cost?
The first 10 minutes from entry are free of charge.
The first started hour costs 300 HUF.
From the second hour, each started hour costs 800 HUF.
The parking fee can be paid at the payment machine in cash or by bank card.
What should be done if someone wants to request a VAT invoice?
VAT invoices can be requested between 7:00 and 14:00 at the cashier on the 7th floor. After 14:00, invoices are issued at the patient reception desks on the ground floor.
What happens if someone loses their parking ticket?
In the case of a lost parking ticket or parking started with an unidentifiable licence plate, the amount payable is 8,000 HUF, regardless of the length of stay. In the case of parking without payment of the parking fee, the penalty is 10,000 HUF per day.
Where can pedestrians move?
The outpatient clinic can be accessed on foot only via the main entrance on Déri Miksa utca. The entrance on Nagy Fuvaros utca can be used only for vehicle traffic.
The rules for using the car park and for safe traffic
Throughout the entire car park area, the rules of the Hungarian Highway Code apply, and the operator may make camera recordings for security and property protection purposes. The maximum permitted speed is 10 km/h. Smoking, the use of open flames and unnecessary running of vehicles are prohibited. Vehicles over 3.5 tons may not enter the car park.
