The Municipality of Józsefváros, in cooperation with the Budapest Athletics Association, will organize a family running race on Sunday, May 26, 2024, in Orczy kert.
The longest distance is 8 kilometres, the shortest 2000 metres.
The race is open to amateur and professional runners, children and adults alike.
Refreshments and chocolates will be waiting for everyone at the finish line.
Schools can also enter as a group.
The Municipality of Józsefváros will award 300,000 HUF to the schools that mobilise the most effectively, and will give special prizes to accompanying teachers from the district schools.
During the event, from between 10 am to 2 pm, there will be laser shooting, activity games, craft activities, health fitness and flexibility assessments on site.
At noon the Eszterlánc band will perform.
The programme is free of charge. No entry fee.

11:15 am Announcement of results (continuously, first for school children, then for adults)
12:00 pm Concert by the Eszterlánc band
Entry: Online by 14 May at jelentkezes@jkn.hu or in person at the venue from 8:30am on the day of the event.
Entries will be closed at the latest 30 minutes before the start of the event.
Schools may enter in groups.
Attention! Anyone who is in good health and fitness and who accepts and complies with the rules of the competition may enter the competition at their own risk. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Awards:
All finishers will receive a medal.
Medals will be awarded to the 1st – 3rd place finishers in each category.
