Discover and tell the story of the Neighbourhood Fests in the district!
People with a curious mind may be familiar with the genre in which residents take to the stage and tell a funny, touching or even horrifying story. This was the My Józsefváros Storytelling Night. The last time we had stories related to the Participatory Budget, this time we’re doing stories about Neighbourhood Fests.
When? 19 November at 6 pm
Where? Lehetőségek tere
Have you ever been to a Neighbourhood Festival? Have you ever organised one for your own community? This year, for the third time, Neighbourhood Festivals have been organised across the district, led by residents of Józsefváros themselves. Meet their stories!
What is it like when a community or a street neighbourhood gets together and celebrates? When the neighbour with the cat on the third floor and the young university student from downstairs who organises loud house parties start talking? Or when the adult who gets involved in everything and the little kid who rides his bike noisily in the corridor play together?
Come and listen to the stories told by the organisers, participants and enthusiastic residents of Józsefváros on 19 November in the Space of Opportunity.
Do you have a memorable neighbourhood-related story? Would you like to share? Know someone who definitely belongs in this event? Do you have a sweet, funny or touching story that everyone needs to hear? Or do you have a good story but want someone else to tell it?
Contact reszvetel@jozsefvaros.hu if you want your story to be included.
Whether you want to tell a story or just listen to others, we welcome you!
Between stories, poems and readings, we’ll have live music performances, food and drink.
Entry to the programme is free.
