The dates of late enrollment for the 2026/2027 educational year in the member institutions of the Kindergartens of Józsefváros (Józsefvárosi Óvodák) are the following:
- August 24, Monday, 2026, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- August 25, Tuesday, 2026, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
You can enroll your child at your local or chosen kindergarten online too, via the website of the Kindergartens of Józsefváros: https://www.08egyesitettovoda.hu/jelentkezes/
Documents required for enrollment:
- official identity documents issued in the child’s name certifying their identity
- official document issued in the child’s name certifying their address
- official identity documents of the parent
- official document issued in the parent’s name certifying their address
- the child’s Social Security Card (TAJ-kártya) and vaccination record
- in the case of a child who is a non-Hungarian citizen, a document certifying the legal basis for residence in Hungary and entitlement to stay
- in the case of a child with special educational needs, the expert opinion of the relevant expert committee
