No in-person services are available at the Office.
Documents may be collected or submitted every working day between 8.15 am-11.00 am in the basement offices at the entrance for disabled persons on Baross utca for clients visiting for the following cases:
- hospital couriers with the records for registration of newborns;
- funeral directors or relatives for reporting new cases of deaths in the areas of jurisdiction of the VIII. district;
- clients arriving to collect issued documents at a time pre-arranged with the registrar.
Apart from these, civil status events may be registered only in urgent cases, in the case of requests received electronically (through ASZA – the internal e-mail system of the registrar).
Standby ordered to perform disaster management tasks
Considering the large number of municipal institutions, apartments and the potential damage in the event of a disaster to persons and families living in the district, in order to provide immediate and rapid as well as professional action, the Public Safety Officer is ordered to be on standby.
In the case of an emergency, an accident, an act of God, any danger to life or serious damage occurring in the operating range of the Office, the Public Safety Officer shall organize and coordinate the disaster management tasks, informing the notary simultaneously, in accordance with the legislation in force.
