On September 14, 2023, we will introduce a new traffic order on the section between Futó street and Szigony street in Práter street, and the renovation will begin on Monday, September 18. At the same time, the construction on Tömő Street will end, and the street will be open again for both bicycles and cars, according to the original traffic schedule.
The temporary traffic order will be introduced on Thursday, September 14 in Práter Street, which will be indicated by signs on the spot. Please watch these! Those who park their vehicles on the section between Futó and Szigony street must leave the area by 8 a.m. on September 14 at the latest. We thank you in advance for your cooperation!
Construction is expected to last until the end of 2023. During the construction, the section between Futó street and Leonardo da Vinci street will be closed to car and bicycle traffic, but the intersections will remain passable. These will be closed by the contractor for one or two weeks during construction, but residents will be informed in advance.
The section between Leonardo da Vinci utca and Szigony utca will be a one-way street from Szigony utca to Leonardo da Vinci utca during the construction.
Only half of the road will be closed, and the lane on the odd-side of the road will be available for cars and bicycles. The other lane will be reconstructed in phases when the traffic will be moved to the already finished side of the road.
Pedestrian traffic will be provided everywhere. The closures will be indicated by traffic signs, please pay attention to them. Owners of vehicles parking in the affected garages will be informed of the changes by separate letters from their representatives and the office building operator.
During the closures, no vehicles or bicycles will be allowed to enter the work area and no parking will be possible, so please leave the area before the closure.
