There’s nothing better in summer than watching a movie under the open sky! We will be screening a total of four movies this season in the Dankó Courtyard, and we’ll also have popcorn available during the screenings. All programs in the courtyard are free, including the open-air cinema. You can find the July schedule of Dankó Courtyard at https://www.dankoudvar.hu/. The films will be shown in Hungarian with English subtitles.

Dankó Courtyard is a community space located at 18 Dankó Street, which was realized as one of the winning ideas of the 2022 participatory budget. The courtyard is open during a trial period from May to October 2024, organized by RÉV8.

In the fall of 2023, a survey was conducted by the Community Participation Office regarding the reopening of Dankó Courtyard. One of the questions in the survey was about what kind of programs the local residents would like to see. The most popular choice was the open-air cinema, and now it’s time to try it out in the courtyard.
