The Family Day of the Teleki téri Piac, called Nyárindító Zsongás, will take place on June 13th, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of free programs throughout the morning: the great atmosphere will be set by music, while children can enjoy face painting, glitter tattoos, a handicraft corner, and plant potting. Adults are welcome to participate in a fermentation workshop.

Information for workshop participants:

We warmly welcome all participants who would like to make their own jar of traditional pickled cucumbers (kovászos uborka).

Please note that the workshop will be conducted in Hungarian.

All necessary equipment and ingredients will be provided free of charge by the organizers. The workshop will run in 30 minute sessions. Please note that bread will optionally be used during the process, and no gluten-free alternative will be available (please take this into consideration in case of food allergies).

To secure your spot, registration in advance is highly recommended, but you are also welcome to join us on-site depending on availability!
