We would like to inform you that the Mayor’s Office of the Municipality of Józsefváros (Józsefvárosi Önkormányzat Polgármesteri Hivatala) will be on administrative break from July 20, 2026, to July 31, 2026, and therefore, during the break, the Mayor’s Office will be closed to the public.
After the administrative break, the first day the office will be open to the public is Monday, August 3, 2026.

For Urgent Civil Registry Matters:
Document drop-off and pickup will be available on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, and Wednesday, July 29, 2026, between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at the office located at Baross utca 63–67, ground floor, room 5, for clients arriving regarding the following matters:
- hospital couriers regarding the submission of birth registration records for newborns;
- funeral service providers and next of kin regarding the reporting of deaths that occurred within the jurisdiction of the 8th District.
