The Mayor’s Office of the Municipality of Józsefváros will be closed on August 20, 2026 (Thursday) and August 21, 2026 (Friday) due to public holidays; customer services will be suspended.
Customer services will resume as normal from August 24, Monday, 2026.
On August 20 and 21, the toll-free number of the Municipality (+36 80 277 256) will not be available.
Registry Office
On August 20 and 21, customer service and on-call duties will be suspended at the Registry Office.
From August 24, Monday, the Registry Office will be open to the public as usual.

In the event of an emergency, accident, natural disaster, life-threatening situation, or serious damage occurring within the Office’s jurisdiction, the public safety officer is responsible for organizing and coordinating disaster management tasks.

Institutions of the Józsefváros Management Centre (Józsefvárosi Gazdálkodási Központ – JGK Zrt.):
On August 20, Thursday, 2026 and August 21, Friday, 2026, the institutions of the Józsefváros Management Centre will be closed to the public.
The customer service offices affected are:
- 1082 Budapest, Baross utca 84.
- 1084 Budapest, Német utca 17–19.
- 1084 Budapest, Őr utca 8.
- 1083 Budapest, Práter utca 22.
- 1084 Budapest, Tavaszmező utca 2.
The Parking Directorate Customer Service (Német utca 17-19.) will operate with reduced opening hours on the day before the holiday, and will be closed on the public holidays themselves:
- August 19 (Wednesday): The customer service office will be open until 2:00 p.m.
- August 20 (Thursday): Closed.
- August 21 (Friday): Closed.
The Teleki Market (Teleki téri Piac) will be closed on 20 August; on Friday it will be open between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.:
- August 19 (Wednesday): 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- August 20 (Thursday): CLOSED
- August 21 (Friday): 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- August 22 (Saturday): 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The Józsefváros Management Centre customer service offices and their services will resume operating according to their usual opening hours from Monday, 24 August 2026.
