The Mackóvár Preschool warmly welcomes everyone to a fun-filled intercultural afternoon featuring music, dance, and arts and crafts!
Date: April 21, 2026, 3:30–4:30 PM
Location: Kálvária Square
The event begins with a welcome address by Rozália Réthy, the kindergarten’s director, followed by a performance by the kindergarten choir featuring multilingual nursery rhymes, folk songs, and dance songs.
During the program, visitors can learn about the cultures of different nations at rotating stations organized by the kindergarten groups:
- Hungarian Corner: folk games and solving Rubik’s Cubes
- Roma Corner: rhythm games, learning authentic Roma dance steps, and getting to know Roma folk costumes, musical instruments, and famous figures
- Indian Corner: hand painting and learning the Isi dance
- Chinese Corner: lantern making, chopstick games, and group dancing to Chinese music
- Ukrainian Corner: coloring folk patterns, learning nursery rhymes, and dancing
The afternoon will conclude with a group world dance, where every participant can show off what they’ve learned.
We warmly welcome everyone!
