From mid-October to early November 2026, phased renovation works, pavement repairs and structural interventions will be carried out at several locations in Józsefváros to improve the safety of both pedestrians and motorists.

The works are scheduled to take place at the following locations and times:

• Alföldi utca 20. Repair of the damaged and sunken section of sidewalk next to the Hungarian State Treasury garage exit 19 –30 october.
• Bérkocsis utca 24. – Raising the driveway entrance to sidewalk level 26 october – 6 november
• Dobozi utca 17. – Investigation and removal of a 3 m³ void beneath the sidewalk adjacent to the building 19 –30 october.
• Dugonics utca 5. – Repair of damaged sidewalk pavement 19-22 october.
• Leonardo da Vinci utca 4-6. – curb cut renovation19-22 october.
• Nagy Templom utca 6. – Repair of damaged sidewalk pavement 19 –30 october.
• Nagy Templom utca 14–16. – Replacement of paving stones around the streetlight pole 19-22 october.
• Nagy Templom utca 28. – Repair of damaged sidewalk pavement 26-30 october
• Puskin utca 11–13. – Repair of damaged sidewalk pavement 19 –30 october.
• Puskin utca 20. – Restoration of a sunken section of roadway in the parking lane 19 october- 6 november
• Tolnai Lajos utca 1–3. – Sidewalk level correction 26 october- 6 november

Some of the works may involve temporary restrictions affecting pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
