There are changes to the arrangements for dealing with local administrative matters at the Mayor’s Office of the Municipality of Józsefváros. Certain specialist administrative services for residents will be available at the Customer Service Office (Baross utca 66-68.) from 19 October 2026 (Monday), enabling residents to deal with a wider range of matters in one place.

A customer-friendly environment, more convenient service
When designing the Customer Service Office, a key priority was to ensure an environment that is easily accessible, welcoming and comfortable for all customers.
- Accessible services: the office ensures accessibility when welcoming customers
- Dog-friendly environment
- Play area for children
- Interpreting service: we provide assistance in overcoming language barriers, in Russian and English, according to the conditions of the available services.
- Audio map: this provides assistance (primarily for visually impaired people) in planning how to reach the building and find their way around the office, enabling clients to familiarise themselves in advance with the routes and landmarks that are relevant to them.
At the Customer Service Office, it will be possible to deal with matters handled by the following departments:
