Bicycle tender for young people

Józsefváros Municipality invites applications from young people between 14 and 25 years of age to support the purchase of bicycle or other equipment necessary for safe cycling or maintenance.

We welcome applications from students aged 14-25 who have been continuously resident in the district for at least 12 months and are active full-time students at a secondary or higher education institution.

You can apply for a maximum of HUF 50,000 for the support of the purchase of bicycles and HUF 25,000 to support the purchase of a cycling equipment. The total amount of the application is HUF 5 million.

In case of a positive evaluation, the grant is conditional on a successful completion of free theoretical training in road traffic, practical training in urban traffic and theoretical and practical training in first aid by the applicant, as defined by the municipality.

The deadline for the submission of proposals is April 30, 2022. If the total amount of the grant is not fully used up by that date, the deadline for the submission of the second round of tenders is September 30, 2022.

A valid tender application must be accompanied by the completed tender application form and its annexes and signed by the person authorized to sign it. The tender application form can be downloaded from the municipality’s website.

How to submit your tender:

– submit your tender to the Józsefvárosi Polgármesteri Hivatal Kerületgazdálkodási Ügyosztály (1082 Budapest, Baross u 63-67. III. em. 311.) in person or by post with the motto “Bicycle tender” OR

– via an electronically verified document, with a fully completed tender application form, by e-mail to zoldpalyazat@jozsefvaros.hu.
