On January 1, 2024, the third participatory budgeting was launched in Józsefváros.
The call for ideas runs until 10 February 2024.
This year, the community will decide about HUF 180 million.
What would make Józsefváros more liveable and homelier? What community programmes, improvements and initiatives would you consider important?

Anyone over the age of 16 with a connection to Józsefváros can submit an idea.
Where and how?
Online: to submit ideas, you need to register on the website: https://reszvetel.jozsefvaros.hu/
In person: there will also be brainstorming workshops and Participation Points to help you submit your ideas, which will also be the venue for voting.
You can also submit your ideas in person at the Mayor’s Office Customer Service during working hours (Baross utca 66-68.), but also at many other locations in the district.

What happens to the ideas after they are submitted?
Józsefváros Municipality staff will examine all proposals received to see if they are legally and practically feasible. The ideas are then discussed by a working group of district residents.
They will draw up a list of ideas that will be put to a final vote by residents of Józsefváros.

When and how to vote?
You can vote from 1 April to 20 April 2024, both online and in person.
All residents of Józsefváros over the age of 16 can vote.
You will have five votes in total. You can use two of them in your own district and one each in the other two districts and in the district as a whole.
