Customer service will be on hold at the Mayor’s Office of the Municipality of Józsefváros (Józsefvárosi Önkormányzat Polgármesteri Hivatala) on July 1 and 2, 2026.
The toll-free number (+36 80 277 256) will not be available on July 1 and 2.
- Registry Office (Anyakönyvi Iroda)
In-person services and telephone support will be suspended from July 1, 2026 to July 2, 2026.
Starting July 3, 2026, the Registry Office will be open as usual.
- Municipal Enforcement Services of Józsefváros (Józsefvárosi Rendészet)
The customer service office of the Municipal Enforcement Services of Józsefváros will be closed on July 1 and 2, 2026.
Starting July 3, 2026, the Municipal Enforcement Services of Józsefváros will be available as usual.

July 1 is Semmelweis Day, Hungary’s National Health Day, and also a day off for healthcare workers. On July 1, 2026, GP offices, the Józsefváros Szent Kozma Health Centre (JEK), dental offices, specialist clinics, health visitor offices, and certain pharmacies will be closed.
Due to a scheduled power outage on July 6, 2026, the customer service hours at the following institutions will be subject to change.
- Customer Service Office (Ügyfélszolgálati Iroda, Baross utca 66-68.):
Until 12:30 p.m. on July 6, 2026, customer service will be available at the Tám-Pont Customer Service Point (Baross utca 63-67). After that, starting at 12:30 p.m., the Customer Service Office will be open to the public at its usual location and during its usual operating hours.
- Social Support Office (Szociális Támogatási Iroda):
The office will be closed to the public until 12:30 p.m. on July 6, 2026. After that, starting at 12:30 p.m., the Social Support Office will be open as usual.
