The public beach of the 8th district is located in Sirály utca, a 3-minute walk from the Káptalanfüred train station. The beach is open daily between 9am and 7pm.
The beach of the municipality’s summer retreat for kids in Káptalanfüred, Lake Balaton is open for all residents of Józsefváros. Every resident with a permanent or temporary address in the 8th district has free access to the beach. In addition, anyone with a permanent or temporary address can bring one more guest with them for free.
Amenities: large, beautiful grove, clean shore, well-groomed lawn, spacious pier, outdoor BBQ and cooking area, playgrounds with sandboxes, volleyball courts, swings and cable slides. Everything is at the disposal of families and friendly gatherings to have a great time at Lake Balaton.
