Problem exploration walk about dogs in the Csarnok neighborhood | Józsefváros Participatory Budgeting

Last updated: (Létrehozva: )

In the 2023 Participatory Budgeting, district residents will have the opportunity to decide how to spend HUF 150 million.

Let’s take a walk together in the Csarnok neighborhood and map the problems affecting the district, and let’s collect ideas on what improvements and changes are needed to make the area more liveable and lovable for both dog-owners and those who do not own dogs.

When? Friday, March 17, 2023, 4:30-6pm.

Where? The walk starts from Rákóczi tér, in front of the Market Hall

We will walk along the route Bérkocsis utca – Nagy Fuvaros utca – Tavaszmező utca – Német utca – József utca – Auróra utca

At the end of the program, we will discuss the experiences of the walk and brainstorm ideas at the Aurora Community Centre.

During the problem exploration walk, participants can develop their ideas, find solutions to the problems raised and answers to their dilemmas.

The 2023 Józsefváros Participatory Budgeting project consists of three main phases:

  • submission of ideas by March 20 2023 at reszvetel.jozsefvaros.hu
  • screening of ideas by April 2023
  • Voting between May 15 and June 15 2023

Come and brainstorm with us and remember: it’s your money, your choice!

The problem exploration walk is part of a winning idea in the 2022 Participatory Budgeting project titled Canine Community Development Program in the Csarnok neighborhood.
