The Municipality of Józsefváros’s highly successful bicycle grant continues! We are looking for applications from young people between 14 and 26 years old to buy a bicycle or to support the purchase of equipment to supplement safe cycling or for maintenance.

Who can apply?

Students aged between 14 and 26 who have been registered residents of the district for at least 6 months continuously and are active full-time students at a secondary or higher education institution.

Eligible applicants

You can apply for a grant of up to HUF 75 000 to buy a bicycle and a maximum of HUF 25 000 for a bicycle equipment grant.

The total amount available is HUF 2 million.

Prerequisite

In the event of a positive decision, the grant is conditional on the successful applicant successfully completing free theoretical and practical training in road traffic theory, urban traffic practice and first aid, as defined by the municipality.

Deadline

Deadline for submission of applications: August 31, 2023.

Please apply with the completed application form and its annexes, or the signature of the person authorised to sign.

How to apply:

– applications must be sent to the District Management Department of the Mayor’s Office of Józsefváros (1082 Budapest, Baross u. 63-67, III. floor 311.) in person or by post to the address “Kerékpárpályázat 2023” or

– electronically certified, using the application form duly completed and sent by e-mail to zoldpalyazat@jozsefvaros.hu.
